DAIC Encourages the Private Sector and other Stakeholders to Fulfill Responsibility in Electoral Process
The DAIC encourages the Private Sector and other stakeholder to actively fulfill their responsibility in the electoral process by being adequately informed and understanding the process in order to utilize the system to achieve the desired result.
President of DAIC, Kenneth Green stated, “Education of all citizens and voters is essential to galvanize action towards supporting an untainted electoral process. We are happy that like our past Eggs and Issues sessions on Cannabis Legalization, the Kempinski Hotel and Opportunities for the Private Sector, and CREAD this discussion allows for more information to be available directly from the guardians of the process. We encourage the Electoral Commission to communicate as widely and as forcefully as possible in order to increase both knowledge and participation in the process”.
Additionally, DAIC expresses gratitude to the Mr. Burton and his Team from the Dominica Electoral Commission for their support in this timely discussion and the various stakeholders who attended this meaningful engagement. DAIC further encourages Members, other Private Sector participants and Stakeholders to continue to utilize its Eggs & Issues platform for communication and engagement with key stakeholders in order to drive critical issues that have relevance for the private sector and greater society at large.
