DCOA Calls for Justice Following Tragic Loss of Senior Citizen

The Dominica Council On Ageing Inc. (DCOA) would like to register its disgust and concern about how this nation’s Older Persons/ Seniors are being treated in the public sphere. This is even more relevant in light of the recent mysterious and gruesome loss of 72-year-old, Ms. Giselle Michleau of Toucari.

It is reported that some medical conditions may have challenged her. We can attest that many others in society suffer from similar disorders. The DCOA would like to see the public become more aware of such circumstances as these pertain to Older Persons/ Seniors and the less fortunate in our society, and as such, we the public, should always be on the lookout for these unfortunate individuals.

The Dominica Council On Ageing condemns such heinous and gruesome acts against our seniors as Ms. Michleau suffered. The DCOA hopes that no stone will be left unturned in the ensuing investigations and trusts that justice will be served for Ms. Micheleau. The Council extends its profound sympathies to her family and loved ones.
