DHTA Launches Hike Fest 2025 to Boost Eco-Tourism Appeal

The Dominica Hotel and Tourism Association (DHTA) is proud to announce the highly anticipated Hike Fest 2025, a signature event that celebrates the island’s unique natural beauty and adventure tourism. Set to take place every Saturday in May, Hike Fest 2025 will offer five hikes of varying degrees of difficulty to fuel the adventurous spirit of locals and visitors alike.

As Dominica continues to thrive as a premier eco-tourism destination, Hike Fest 2025 aims to further position the island as the Caribbean’s premier hiking and adventure tourism hub. Participants will explore some of the island’s most renowned trails and attractions for Hike Fest 2025 – Middleham Falls, Part of Segment #3 of the Waitukubuli National Trail (WNT), Morne Diablotin, Victoria Falls and an anticipated night hike on the Syndicate Nature trail!

The DHTA sees the incredible success of Carnival 2025 as providing a solid foundation for the continued growth of Dominica’s tourism industry, with large numbers of visitors from around the world and record-breaking attendance at Carnival events. DHTA Members reported on significantly higher bookings and increased business compared to previous years for the period.

Building on this momentum, Hike Fest 2025 will further elevate Dominica’s profile as a must-visit destination for adventure and cultural tourism, drawing attention to the island’s unique offerings in the Caribbean.
