Dominica attended CHTA Travel Marketplace 2023

Dominica participated in the 41st edition of the CHTA Travel Marketplace in Barbados from May 9 – 11, 2023.

This year, the destination led an impressive delegation to the CHTA Marketplace to meet with agents, tour operators and media to discuss the destination’s unique selling points, travel trade opportunities and recent accolades. The team had the opportunity of connecting with some trade and media partners, including Apple Leisure Group, Pleasant Holidays, Classic Vacations, Travel Agent Central, Essence and Travel Weekly, over the two days set aside for prearranged business meetings.

The delegation in attendance included, Minister for Tourism, The Hon. Denise Charles; Director of Tourism and CEO of Discover Dominica Tourism Authority, Colin Piper; Destination Marketing Manager, Kimberly King; Marketing Executive, Lise Cuffy; Dominica’s representative in North American Zapwater Communications, Holly Zawyer and Jerry Grymek along other private sector representatives from InterContinental, Secret Bay, Rosalie Bay and Fort Young Hotel.

The Hon. Denise Charles, Minister for Tourism, also provided the Press with exciting updates about Dominica’s historic cable car project, the new international airport, runway expansion at existing airport, sustainability development to include the geothermal project and hotel updates on new and existing products.
