Dominica Solid Waste Management launches waste management campaign for 2021

The Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation in its island-wide fight against littering, has developed a waste management campaign for 2021.

We believe that this will raise much needed awareness on littering and disposing of garbage, tourism and global warming, increase student awareness who will in turn become ambassadors of proper waste management.

We would appreciate your responses by the 26th of March 2021 as we look to have the official launching of the campaign on the 29th of March 2021, where your involvement would be vital. Sponsorship contributions can be handed over at this function also.

The Dominica Solid Waste Management Corporation (DSWMC), was established by the Solid Waste Management Act 17 of 1996, with the responsibility of developing solid waste management facilities for storage, collection, treatment and disposal of solid waste for matters incidental thereto. The Corporation commenced operations with effect from July 1, 1997.
