Plans are underway for the highly anticipated Scotts Head Reunion 2025, set to take place from June 27 to July 6, bringing together the communities of Soufrière, Gallion, and Scotts Head for ten days of cultural celebration and development-focused initiatives.
Organisers have confirmed that the event will feature a full calendar of activities, including a Creole Mass, talent night, comedy show, musical bands, and a corner lime. Notably, the celebration will honour elderly residents and individuals who have made significant contributions to community life.
Among the most impactful plans is the construction of a new bus stop, four mini-libraries, and restroom facilities supported by JP’s Plumbing Solutions in collaboration with local businesses. The event also includes whale watching excursions, beach activities, and other nature-based experiences designed to showcase the area’s eco-tourism potential.
The committee emphasised that the reunion is not only about celebration but also about legacy. The goal is to unite residents and the diaspora while laying tangible foundations that benefit future generations. Local authorities and private sponsors have pledged support for what is expected to be one of the most community-driven events of the year.
