Dunstan Peters Calls for Public Support in Boosting Dominica’s Athletes
Director of Recruitment & Talent Identification at DA Next Level Sports Management & Recruitment Group, and Founder of the 767 Sports Club, Dunstan Maggie Peters, is urging the public to lend their support to the group’s ongoing efforts to foster athletic development in Dominica. Speaking at a recent ceremony, Peters emphasized the critical role sports play in shaping the future of young athletes.
“This morning, we want to reach out to the public to support even more. We are not crying, but we are trying,” Peters said. “Sports is a big deal. We have seen it with our first Olympic gold medal, and we are determined to keep that momentum going.”
Peters highlighted the significant impact that sports can have on the lives of athletes, providing them with a sense of purpose and belonging. He also noted the increasing demands on the organization to help athletes realize their dreams, stating that financial support is essential.
“It takes funds, and we know how the situation is. We are not crying, but we are trying. This is why we are launching this initiative, this raffle,” Peters continued.
The raffle is part of a broader fundraising effort to ensure athletes have the necessary resources to pursue their sports careers. While the team continues to seek assistance from various institutions, Peters emphasized the need for the community to step up and support their local talent.
“We must also take responsibility for looking out for each other. We appeal to the public to come on board and support this initiative,” Peters added.
The Director expressed his gratitude to those who have already supported the group’s various sports programs, noting that their contributions have made a significant difference in the lives of many athletes.
