The prime minister made it clear that the budget serves a 12-month economic plan, and that it will be implemented to the minutest details. He said part of the budget will take care of a three-year $30 million fund which will be administered by AID Bank for the growth of small businesses. The loan will be accessed by small businesses at an interest of 1%.

That will also include the passage of legislation to create the legal framework for the operations of small businesses where concessions are concerned, physical incentives are concerned and recognition to the small business sector in our country.
