Four Outstanding Students Honored with CCCUL 2024 Scholarships

The Central Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. is proud to extend heartfelt congratulations to the recipients of its 2024 scholarships. The scholarships were awarded based on both merit and need, recognizing the academic achievements and financial requirements of four outstanding students.

The prestigious J.B. Eugene Scholarship, awarded based on merit, was granted to Maia T. Bertrand and Ken-G Delsol. Meanwhile, the Father Raymond Proesman Scholarship, awarded based on financial need, was granted to Kira Frank and Curin Curdlyn Thomas.

Receiving these scholarships will allow the students to focus on their education, the most important aspect of their school journey.

Mr. Aylmer Irish, General Manager of CCCUL, offered encouraging words to the new high school students. “To you, the recipients of this award, I encourage you to study hard, complete your assignments on time, and make the best use of this opportunity that many other students wish they had. Make your parents proud and bring satisfaction to the CCCUL,” he advised.

The Central Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. encouraged the students to stay focused, study smart, and use their time wisely. The entire CCCUL family is rooting for them, sharing love and light as they embark on this new chapter in their educational journey.

CCCUL

Central Co-operative Credit Union Limited was registered as a newly formed credit union on July 2, 2007 on the amalgamation of the St. Alphonsus and Portsmouth credit unions. The amalgamation which grew from the strategic and long term planning of these two strong credit unions brought together the second and third largest credit unions on the island.
