Government Adds Toilet and Bathroom Facility to Castle Bruce Tourism Experience

The Ministry of Tourism has succeeded in providing bathroom and toilet facilities for a better Castle Bruce tourism experience. The newly added facility was handed over to the Anse Kouanari Tourism Association Inc. (AKTA Inc.) by the Minister for Tourism, Robert Tonge.

The minister revealed that his ministry built the facility in response to the needs of the community, adding it will prove a wonderful experience to both residents and tourists. He said tourists will find the facility a community experience to cherish and a memory to take away when leaving Dominica.

Tonge urged the Castle Bruce community to do everything in their power to make the facility “sustainable, properly marketed and very well maintained in order to benefit all concerned.” To this end, he tasked all residents of the area to avail themselves of the opportunities for training required to provide consistently excellent service in Castle Bruce.

Johnson Drigo, the parliamentary representative for Castle Bruce, promised to employ staff who would provide quality service to all at the new facility. Drigo urged the tourism minister and the entire DLP leadership to assist Castle Bruce with better programs in order to elevate its tourism potentials to international standards.

President of AKTA Inc., Adrien Bannis, thanked the government, the village community and everyone for making the toilet facility a dream come true for residents and potential visitors. He said the bayfront in Castle Bruce promises to be delightful for everyone visiting. Meanwhile, the government is planning to develop the bayfront in Castle Bruce so that everyone will enjoy being there.
