Our lives are divided into seasons, a time to enter and a time to exit. A time to win and a time to loose….
I know that many want me to stay in the political circle, and caused me to rethink my original decision post-election, 2019, but after ruminating and observations in recent weeks, I know that exiting is the best decision for me, and for you.
It was a distinguished honour and privilege to serve our country in the capacity as a Member of Parliament 2014-2019.
With enduring gratitude, I thank United Workers Party, Parliamentarians, Roseau South and Dominica. To my family and friends, thank you.
I journeyed to make Dominica a better place. And all I ever desire/d is/was to help in making Dominicans experience a better life, especially for the bare foot man. I gave my all-sacrificed a lot voluntarily and involuntarily-pure selflessness-my career, family….
Let us set our eyes on better days as we move towards a more tolerant,united and progressive society. Dominica has a lot of potential, and we are capable of doing much better.
We live to experience happier days! I love you.. my best wishes go out to everyone including those who sought my destruction. I am particularly grateful to those who stood in my corner in the season of my darkest hour.
I suggest that as a nation we need to be less destructive, instead focus on building others- a new season!
