Launching of the MLajan Mobile Wallet
MLajan Financial Technology Services Limited is pleased to announce the launch of its New Mobile Wallet, MLajan on Thursday, 27th May 2021.
The Mlajan Mobile Wallet will be rolled out in various stages for the month of May leading up to its main launch date with the following activities:
- Merchant On-boarding May, 4th 2021 – our New Merchants information will be loaded in the App allowing them to be able to receive payments from customers via the App
- Agent On-boarding May, 10th 2021 – our New Agent information will be loaded in the App allowing them to be able to provide Cash-In and Cash-Out services to users of the App
- Agent Training May, 15th 2021 – all MLajan Agents will be given detailed training on how to provide Cash-In and Cash-Out services
- Merchant Training May, 17th 2021 – all Merchants will be given detailed training on how to receive and process payments from users of the App
- Public Launch May, 27th 2021
The MLajan’s soon to be launched Mobile Wallet, will offer customers an alternative to cash, cheques and credit or debit card payments. Users of the Mobile Wallet will have the opportunity to transfer funds to friends or family, pay utility bills, pay for meals or entertainment and shop at various supermarkets, boutiques and even roadside vendors via contactless payment that is secure and convenient.
MLajan Financial Technology Services Limited was incorporated as a private limited liability company and is owned by the Dominica Cooperative Societies League Limited (DCSLL). The DCSLL is the apex body for the Credit Unions for Dominica and has been in existence since 1957. MLajan aims to build accessible and affordable digital financial services to customers in Dominica and the wider Caribbean Region.
