Lawyer Collen Grant is to head the IPO. This is in a letter from Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit to the opposition leader Lennox Linton, dated March 6th, 2019. In it, he notifies Mr. Linton that he has written to president Charles Savarin informing him to issue the necessary instrument to have Lawyer Collen Grant head the Integrity in Public Office (IPO) Commission .

Mrs. Grant is an attorney in private practice attached to the chambers of Gerald Burton. She has been a member of the newly elected 5 member IPO and has been chairing the body since the death of its Chairman, Dermot Southwell almost a year ago.

The instrument of appointment is to take effect as of February 15, 2019. The prime minister has given Linton until March 12th, 2019 to comment on the matter.

Colleen Grant is the wife of Fidel Grant, DLP candidate for the Wesley constituency in the upcoming general election.
