Leaked WhatsApp Chat Reveals Linton Is Selling Public Land

A leaked WhatsApp chat reveals Linton is selling public land to promote personal campaign. Leader of the opposition party, Lennox Linton, was discovered trying to sell a public land worth US$10 million for only EC$1 million. This sale was arranged in a secret deal with the agent of a developer who planned for the money. The cash will be used to secure the presidency for the opposition leader with more offers of juicy deals if Linton wins the forthcoming election.

In the leaked WhatsApp conversation, Linton was found soliciting for funds from the developer’s agent, Chris, with both agreeing that the national asset to be secretly sold off for personal gain is a huge giveaway. The communication showed that this is not the first time the developer and his agent are funding Linton’s campaigns.

Speaking with Chris, Linton said “Trust me…the deal can be anything he (the developer) wants when I’m in office.” And the agent replied that “He needs that piece of land but you need to deliver it to me this time…he obviously needs it CBI zoned and planning etc to be forthcoming.” Linton further disclosed that “that land is worth in excess of $10 and he’s getting full support when in office.”

Obviously strapped for cash and eager to get the funding by selling Dominican land at any costs, Linton pleaded with Chris to “please remember the assistance” with the agent promising to provide the assistance as soon as possible.

Leaked by CCE News, the secret communication between the opposition leader and the unknown developer shows the extent of corruption that Linton is capable of. The conspiracy to sell of indigenous land to fund his political campaigns is not only unpatriotic, but it is horrendous and condemnable.

DLP Oracle

I am a realist. Few people I really believe in, and one of those has the potential to be the next Prime Minister of Dominica. Melissa will be by all accounts the next Prime Minister after PM Skerrit. I will certainly be endorsing her candidacy, and will be first by her side.
