NCCU Launches Online Portal for FinTech Credit Services
The National Cooperative Credit Union (NCCU) has launched its online portal for financial technology services. This online portal will provide digital credit access to all NCCU customers around the world with the convenience of their mobile devices. NCCU CEO Aylmer Irish revealed that customers will enjoy quality financial services through the online portal to almost replace physical transactions.
Irish further added that NCCU members will access financial services and products that are user-friendly, technologically advanced, and a true representation of Dominican fintech. NCCU President Josephine Dublin said launching the credit portal is a milestone achievement for the union and a fulfilment of customers’ wishes.
“You asked for it, now it’s here! As the NCCU lives up to its vision of being the premiere financial institution providing services that enhance the quality of life for all its members, it has moved into a new era of operations,” Dublin said. “The world and financial institutions particularly have embraced the new technologies and the benefits that they bring; our members have clamoured for this for a very long time.”
Dublin stated that a review of NCCU’s Facebook page shows that members have been demanding for a web credit portal for a long time. She credited the immense contributions of the IT and marketing departments as well as the implementation committee to make the portal a reality. She added that members will soon be able to access the website with mobile devices from the comfort of their homes.
The union president however warned members and customers to exercise prudence with security passwords so that their credit accounts are not compromised in any way. She also cautioned for members to ensure that their digital life does not threaten their physical relationships for better balance.
Though we may have invested a lot in technology, the foundation of our success as a unit has been service; and permit me to tweak our little tagline ‘People Serving People.’ Volunteers, let us explore the added benefits and opportunity that these technologies provide so that we can access data that will lead to an ever-increasing positive membership and employee-experience at the National Co-operative Credit Union.

Systems Administrator Kelton Woodman said NCCU members will be able to check their credit balances, carry out money transfers, review transaction history, and open sub-accounts when and where they want.
One of the things that in our initial planning of our online services that was a paramount importance to us was ensuring that the platform would be very easy to use. We wanted a seamless experience for our members to ensure that they could perform the task that they wanted.
