Notable media agencies around the world have endorsed Dominica as one of the best places to visit in 2020. Some of these include CNN, Vogue, Insider, Wall Street Journal, and Conde Nast Traveller among others. They all highlight the natural resources of Dominica as the true Nature Island, and state what tourists could do to enjoy their time in the country.
According to CNN Travel, Dominica is one of the 20 best places in the world to visit in 2020. The news media revealed the “lush, primordia rainforests, foliage-engulfed peaks, and deep ravines crisscrossed by 365 rivers” on the island. CNN stated that one of the things visitors could do in Dominica is to visit the Boiling Lake, take a refreshing dip in the Emerald Pool waterfall, and snorkel in Champagne Reef where thermal springs could be experienced first-hand.
The Conde Nast Traveller described Dominica as an “island defined by bare-knuckled blue mountains, hot springs, and a tangle of rain forests, along with a river for every day of the year.” The media stated that Dominica is “more than just sand and surf,” but a mixture of natural delights to be experienced in all its ramifications deep in the forests or deep in the waters.
Vogue sees Dominica as an island country with “exceptional new offerings for tourists.” The magazine says Dominica is best enjoyed out in the open, and that its natural beauties are one of the lesser known in the entire Caribbean.
Insider magazine said Dominica is more than a cruise stop for luxury ships, but an island that must be explored for a week or more for maximum enchantment. Travel blogger Dan Flying Solo said the country is comparable with Costa Rica and Antigua in terms of great tourist attractions.
The Wall Street Journal said Dominica is rebounding from the devastating effects of two recent hurricanes, and that the rainforests and classic resorts are begging foreigners for an exploration. The government is working assiduously to ensure that Dominica becomes the first climate-resilient nation in the world, and a lot of development is coming to the tourism sector.
