The police have found one of the three persons allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint in Campbell village. The victims were reportedly duct-taped and whisked away by unknown persons, and the police are on their trail.
The victim was rescued and currently receiving treatment at the Princess Margaret Hospital according to police authorities.
The victim, a male, is also said to be cooperating with the police as they conduct investigations into the kidnap case. The police are also working to locate and secure the release of the other two kidnap victims.
The kidnap took place at 3 O’clock on Monday morning. Crime watchers said this is the second kidnapping case this year in Dominica.
