The killer of double amputee and wheelchair bound Glensworth Frank has been arrested. Aljai Liverpool, 25, was arraigned before Magistrate Michael Laudat where he was not required to enter a plea after his offense was read out to him.
Head of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Superintendent Mathew Cuffy, disclosed that Frank, a native of Eggleston, was found unresponsive in a drain close to Canefield East bus-stop on September 16. Police officials had responded to a call and found Frank in the drain, unresponsive and with wounds on his forehead. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A man-hunt was launched for his killer and with intelligence from the public; Aljai Liverpool was arrested and charged with Frank’s murder. His matter will be determined by a jury, but pending the determination of his case, he has been remanded at the Dominica State Prison.
