Kernelle’s mother said she was last sighted at the Chance area before her disappearance a week ago. The names of the two men arrested by the police have not been released, but the authorities said they are working to establish a motive for the killing before bringing the perpetrators to justice.
The police are also investigating the death of a baby girl found buried in a plastic bag below a house in Union Estate, Pointe Michel. Police said the fact that the baby was found buried in a plastic bag under a house indicates that there was foul-play, and that the persons behind the girl’s death and unholy burial must be brought to book.
