PSS Emerges Under 17 Champions 2020 After Defeating NECS

The Portsmouth Secondary School (PSS) has emerged the Under 17 champions after defeating the North East Comprehensive School (NECS). The PSS won the championship after dashing NECS’ hopes at the Benjamin’s Park in Portsmouth.

The PSS won over NECS by 3-0 after they scored their first goal in the first half and the next two goals in the second half of the match. Julie Henry scored the first goal in the 15th minute, and Omari Bazil scored the second goal in the 54th minute while Tyriq Joseph scored the third goal in the 77th minute.

It was the first time ever that the NECS would feature in the final.

Tyriq Joseph was given the MVP award, and Edgar Alexander of the NECS was given the George Carrington Award for Best Defender.
