Exciting developments are in store for travelers as Silver Airways gears up to enhance Dominica’s connectivity. Brace yourselves for two more weekly flights, boosting convenience and accessibility for those heading to the Nature Isle.
From October 23, 2023, to August 15, 2024, Silver Airways will spread its wings even further, offering six weekly flights from Puerto Rico to Dominica, spanning Monday through Saturday. This expansion is well-timed to coincide with the World Creole Music Festival, promising a harmonious blend of travel and festivities.
But that’s not all. Passengers now have the liberty to book code-share flights with major US airlines, such as American Airlines, United Airlines, JetBlue, and Delta, from the US mainland to Puerto Rico and seamlessly onward to Dominica. It’s a game-changer, simplifying travel plans and enhancing options for travelers.
The Discover Dominica Authority (DDA) is thrilled about these developments and encourages everyone to spread the word far and wide. This news is a catalyst for increased occupancy at local accommodations, and the DDA is tirelessly collaborating with local stakeholders to propel stayover visitation to new heights.
A word of advice: While these additional flights are fantastic news, remember that flight availability can be subject to changes. After August 15, 2024, the regular flight schedule of four times weekly will return, ensuring a steady flow of travel options to Dominica.
