The DLP Plans Virtual Tribute Ceremony In Memory Of Hon. Edward Registe

The Dominica Labour Party will host a virtual ceremony of tribute in memory of our late brother and comrade, Honourable Edward Registe, at 3 pm on Saturday, September 11, 2021.

The ceremony of tribute will include the unveiling of a commemorative billboard in Grand Bay, by the Political leader of the Dominica Labour Party, Honourable Roosevelt Skerrit and Mrs. Magdalene Registe, mother of the late Hon. Edward Registe.

The Dominica Labour Party, being cognizant of the current COVID-19 health protocols, wishes to inform that there will be no gathering, no motorcading and no music. All fellow Labourites and the general public are invited to join us via DBS Radio, Kairi FM, Vibes Radio, GIS-Digicel (channel 7), GIS-Flow (channel 107), YouTube and Facebook, as we honour the life of our fallen comrade.

We continue to express our heartfelt condolences to the family, the people of Grand Bay, Party supporters and well-wishers on the loss of a true patriot.

Honourable Registe was a diligent, selfless, and committed leader who had a passion for youth and community development. He was focused on the socio-economic transformation of Grand Bay and served his people with genuine love.

The Dominica Labour will always remember his shout “Labour!” when he called the troops to order during our rallies and other functions.

He will surely be missed, forever be loved and be forever remembered.

His legacy will surely live on.
