Treneese Hamilton of DSC to Compete In CARIFTA; U20 Team Qualifies Too

Dominica Grammar School (DGS) student, Treneese Hamilton, will be competing at the CARIFTA games which come up in Bermuda between April 10 to 13. The sports event will hold at the National Sports Complex in Bermuda. A shot-putter, Hamilton threw a distance of 13.38 meters to qualify for participation at the games.

Dennick Luke, another sportsman who ran a record 4.16.87 in the 1,500 meters race in Jamaica will also be going for the CARIFTA Games in Bermuda.

Meanwhile, the U-20 team in Dominica has qualified for the CONCACAF games in the Dominican Republic between February 19-23. The captain of the qualifying team is Audel Laville, and vice-captain is Jaheim Maximea.
