UWP will contest all 21 constituencies in the upcoming Election. The leader of the United Worker’s Party (UWP), Lennox Linton, also dismissed rumors that his party’s deputy leader Joshua Francis will be replaced at the upcoming general elections.

There have been speculations that the embattled deputy leader Joshua Francis who won the Roseau South sit for the UWP would have been replaced. The UWP he confirmed “will contest all 21 constituencies.”

Declaring that the UWP will contest all 21 constituencies, Linton on Thursday named Francis on a list of 14 confirmed candidates and said the candidates for Grand Fond, Vieille Case, Petite Savanne, Soufriere, Grand Bay and Kalinago Territory will be announced soon.

  1. A storm brewing with Joshua Francis and Lennox, just a matter of time before they divide people. I really think that they think they will sweep all this under the rug and it will be ok come elections. They will divide – that party always have some issues.

  2. Hahahaha, only 14 candidates. They not ready – they will get another 7 candidates just to fill numbers, but they won’t be serious contenders. DLP have this in the bag, we not sweating.

    1. Listen Nuh, of that 14 mentioned only two might lose their seat, thats by a narrow margin mind you.
      without naming the other 7 we have this as a win. We have a strong team.
