UWP’s Last and Final Candidate for Grand Bay to Cultivate Agro Hybrid Cannabis
Thirty-five-year-old Nept Kannit Pacquette is UWP’s last and final candidate for Grand Bay and he promised to cultivate agro hybrid cannabis if elected. Pacquette’s nomination sums up the 21 total candidates the party can present for the coming election. He was unveiled at the Prevo Cinemall and replaces the late Attorney Noreen John who passed away in May 2019.
While revealing his plans for the South City if elected, Pacquette said he looks forward to introduce a special agro hybrid cannabis as well as introduce innovative technology for agriculture in the constituency. He said he will ensure that all young and capable men go into agriculture to guarantee food sustainance. He added that ecommerce and tourism will be among his projects for the constituency so that the people can tap into new markets for making money.
“The Geneva Estate will be utilized to its full potential with a shopping complex and a national heritage museum,” Pacquette said. “And my party when in government will set up a youth entertainment empowerment and training enterprise.”
He added that the road ahead of him is not easy to trod, but he believes in his own ability and the support of the people as well as the UWP party structure behind him.
“I am humbled and challenged – humbled because of the magnitude of this decision to carry the mantle of leadership in my community and challenged because I know that the road ahead is not going to be easy,” he confessed. “I am, however, confident that I have what it takes to succeed as a candidate and by succeed, I mean to win. I am confident in my ability, my work, my skills, my determination, my dreams and my plans, my supportive family and the goodness of the members of the entire community. I believe that we can and we have what it takes to win the Grandbay seat.”
Pacquette was nominated for the seat by the Grand Bay Constituency Association and sanctioned by Party Leader Lennox Linton who noted that “Nept is a young man; a young man of courage; a young man of vision.”
