We claim victory for UWP, Team Dominica in the next General Election

We claim victory for UWP, Team Dominica in the next general election in the Commonwealth of Dominica-in Jesus Christ name.

As we hit the home stretch onwards to the next general election, it is evident that the Dominica Labour Party has been unrepentant in its quest to use its tongues and hands to say and register all manner of evil things about us while:

  1. We have experienced the use of the judiciary to oppress us.
  2. We have seen almost a total monopolization of state own media by DLP to peddle its agenda.
  3. We have witnessed the control and abuse of people by DLP to harm others including the destruction of families.
  4. We are experiencing an unprecedented use of lies and propaganda by DLP to deceive and fool the nation of Dominica.
  5. We are witnessing the rise of men/women from rags to riches in the ranks and file of DLP.
  6. We have been witnessing dubious and murky governance which cannot give proper account of public funds.
  7. We are part of a nation where the ruling DLP government abuses state resources for political gain, clientelism, treating, bribery, electoral irregularities and refusal to facilitate proper electoral reform to champion fairness and justice.
  8. Our beautiful Dominica which has not realized beyond an average 1% economic growth over the past 19 years.

Let me say that some of you may be feeling pressure in your budget, your health, your schedule, your relationships, your temptations and may not make time to address the growth of DLP’s political disease in the heart of our country.

I call on everyone to please reflect on the state of our country: we are not the worst but, we have certainly underperformed as a country. We are last in many economic measures in the Caribbean through mismanagement and squander by the DLP administration.

Hurricane Maria did cause severe devastation and our country has had to rebound, but our rebirth could have been bouncier had our administration been wiser and strategic. A 9% projected growth for 2019 to 2020 is average in the context of disaster economics in such a small developing state.

Our CBI programme has generated lots of funds making up over 40% of our national revenue over the past few years, yet the monies allocation has not maximize our returns. We could say though that the said programme has created a scheme for DLP boys club to enrich themselves from kickbacks from some authorize CBI agents.

And for those of us who dear to question DLP’s leadership such as in recent times re; unaccounted CBI monies, we are “hard-pressed on every side.”

I am personally fearless though, and I call on you to stand for right and with right. For we shall not be crushed! Perplexed, but “not in despair.” Our endurance is a function of our Christian faith: ” Since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written in the Bible, ‘I believe and therefore I say,’ “we are hard-pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

Like me, do not bow and surrender to the enemies of truth and righteous national leadership.

Put on the full armor of God, so that we can take our stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the DLP rulers, against their authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

We trust in the Almighty God who has given us not a spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind.

We therefore reclaim our country to Righteousness and not DLP.
